Our goal is to exist as a church, that would be known as God-centered, Christ-exalting, Spirit-empowered, Bible-saturated, and Missions-mobilizing. At Sovereign Grace Church, it is our mission "to bring about the obedience of faith in all nations for the sake of His name." Romans 1:5 It is truly our desire to see men and women in every nation, tribe, and tongue come to saving faith in Christ. We desire to help them grow in their faith and to carry out Christ's mission to seek and save those who are lost. The chief end of all of our efforts in this regard is the glory of Christ.
We attempt to clarify and accomplish our mission through 3 pathways:
Delight in Christ.
Develop in our maturity in Christ.
Declare Christ.
Our church is located in Bakersfield, CA. We currently meet at Frontier High School every Sunday morning @ 10:30am.
