Anglican International Development

Aid no border

Anglican International Development (AID) works to relieve poverty, ill-health and all types of suffering in developing countries through long-term, sustainable solutions which empower and enable citizens. AID was formed in September 2008 in response to concerns expressed by the Archbishop of Nigeria at the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON), that South Sudan and its church were particularly vulnerable, coming out of a lengthy civil war. AID is a Christian charity and so is motivated by Jesus’s example and command to love those in need.
